Media Manager

As the Media Manager here at Marriner Marketing, you’ll support the VP of Media with media research and planning/buying needs, serving as the lead with select accounts and support on larger business. You’ll become a strong liaison with cross-functional teams, adding value from a media point of view to reports with performance insights, implications and optimizations. Involved in integrated planning, you’ll attend creative kick-offs, lead custom content and contribute with media insights/reporting, event recommendations/logistics, etc. We may also ask you to assist on plan revisions, flowcharts and other value-added components. Ultimately, our Media Manager will support the growth of the department by identifying incremental opportunities that are in line with Client marketing and/or business objectives.

We’re seeking a positive, flexible, well-organized and self-motivated individual, someone who’s goal oriented with a passion to learn and grow in the discipline. You’ll be the perfect fit if you are strategically-minded, have great negotiating skills and love to think outside the box. Adept at building relationships, you should thrive in a team environment and work well with internal staff, sales reps and Clients. Accurate and detail/numbers oriented, you’re a problem-solver and multitasker who handles pressure well and is comfortable managing multiple projects at any given time.

Knowledge and Skills Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing/communications
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word; Strata, Google Analytics and Google Data Studio knowledge a plus
  • 3-5 years of media buying/management experience desired, in traditional as well as digital platforms
  • Excellent communication/presentation skills
