Freelance Proofreader

June 4, 2018

Are you looking for a great freelance position in a well-established and highly regarded ad agency? Well, we’re looking for someone with a strong command of words, grammar, punctuation and proofing/editing skills to help with our overflow. A person with exceptional attention to detail, a great listener and a trusted partner who can serve as a last line of defense in making great creative work for Clients in the food, beverage and hospitality industries.

All kinds of content (print and digital ads, enewsletters, press releases, etc.) will come your way. You will be tasked with understanding and enforcing brand guidelines to ensure work leaves our doors free of mistakes. For the time being, this will be an on-location freelance job with hours dependent on our overflow volume.

Ultimately, the primary trait we look for at Marriner is innate curiosity. We love curious people, because they never stop learning. They never stop asking questions. They never stop digging for the truth. We’re big believers in getting to the bottom of things, and curious people act as the fuel to help us get there. Granted, you can’t just be curious. To work here, you need to be nice, too. If this sounds like you, and you don’t mind Friday afternoon happy hours, you know where to apply.
