Remember when paying by phone meant paying a bill over the phone instead of online or snail mail? Starbucks reports that 3 million people have paid via the phone app since January of this year. Scan and pay is technology that consumers are using in droves, partially contributing to Starbucks’ stellar comeback. Speed seems to be the main consumer driver.
