Prior to his role at Marriner, Towey was an Editor/Social Media Manager at StateVentures, LLC, where he developed and implemented highly successful social media strategies for a range of restaurants and hotels within the travel industry. He was responsible for growing OceanCity.com’s Facebook following from 17,500 to more than 121,000 users, as well as spearheading ShoreCraftBeer.com—an initiative to promote Delmarva as a craft beer destination. Towey’s professional background also includes social media and content-related positions at AmericanCraftBeer.com.
