New Account Supervisor Brings Powerful Marketing Experience to Marriner
Columbia, MD– As clients continue to challenge their agency partners to create marketing programs that have clear return-on-investment, Marriner Marketing Communications expanded its expertise with Kelly McConnell as an Account Supervisor.
McConnell recently managed the strategic planning and creative development of loyalty programs for United Airlines’ Mileage Plus and Cendant Hotels’ TripRewards. Her team used database segmentation to better target the most profitable customers and created sound marketing strategies to better measure results. The programs consisted of a variety of marketing tactics, including direct mail, e-mail, sales, collateral, promotional and fulfillment materials.
“Precision is the key to successful direct marketing. Whether traditional direct mail, e-mail campaigns or direct-response TV, you can effectively reach your target with the most appropriate message or offer, while being able to track the results,” said McConnell. “You also have the benefit of testing many variables and ultimately refining your campaigns to produce the best result.”
Tighe Merkert, Marriner president and CEO, added “Kelly has an impressive marketing track record, as each campaign she was involved in delivered valuable business results to the client. Her experience and insight will help take us and our clients to the next level.”
McConnell’s expertise also includes overseeing marketing programs for Sylvan Learning Center, Hibernia National Bank, Baltimore/Washington International Airport and Johns Hopkins Medicine. McConnell earned a Communications bachelor’s degree from Penn State University.
