Marriner Marketing Welcomes New Account Supervisor with Deep Brand Strategy and Marketing Experience
Columbia, MD—To continue providing clients with strategically sound, clarity-driven work, Marriner Marketing Communications (MMC) added Laura Holmes-Binetti to its Account Services team. With a marketing and brand strategy background that includes food & beverage and consumer packaged goods experience, Holmes-Binetti will serve as an Account Supervisor at Marriner.
Holmes-Binetti says, “I’m excited to be part of the dynamic MMC team and work closely with our high-caliber clients to continue to meet their unique needs. My goal is to bring a fresh perspective, strategic insight and project management skill set to the benefit of clients’ businesses.”
Holmes-Binetti’s background includes 10+ years of agency and client experience building both corporate and product brands. Before joining Marriner, Holmes-Binetti worked with Maryland-based agency Harvey & Daughters, Inc. As a Marketing Manager and Strategic Account Planner, she managed successful positioning projects for McCormick & Co., U.S. Foodservice, Manischewitz, Goetze’s Candy, CoverGirl and MAX Factor. She also worked at Schieffelin & Somerset, a New York agency, where she handled national advertising initiatives for Grand Marnier and Moet & Chandon. On the client side, Holmes-Binetti worked as a Communications and Category Manager for a leading cosmetics company KPSS, Inc., helping to develop and implement comprehensive communications and branding programs.
“Laura’s extensive client and brand management experience in industries that have direct relevance to Marriner’s client base will bring a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the agency,” said Tighe Merkert, MMC President and CEO.
Holmes-Binetti received her Bachelor of Science in mass communications, with concentrations in public relations and marketing, from Towson University. She is a member of the Public Relations Society of America, the American Marketing Association and the In-Store Marketing Institute.
