Marriner Marketing Enhances Research Department with New Analyst

Columbia, MD– As new food and hospitality industry trends continue to impact business decisions and clients have a growing desire to develop customized research to measure results, Marriner Marketing strengthened its capabilities with the addition of Angela Kearney as a Market Research Analyst.

“Marriner’s communications programs take into account the various forces at play in the marketplace, including competitor activity, buyer attitudes and behaviors, social and industry trends and economic factors,” Kearney says. “By using primary and secondary research and working closely with the account teams to understand client objectives, we’ll continue to provide valuable insights that lead to informed business decisions and effective communications that resonate with target audiences.”

Kearney was previously with WB&A Market Research, a full-service research firm, where she worked on clients such as Provident Bank, Choice Hotels International, The Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority and The Northern Virginia Transportation Commission. Kearney’s experience also includes conducting research to analyze new product marketing opportunities and perspective environments for business contacts.

“Angie can quickly and effectively unearth current trend information and, working with our Director of Strategic Planning, apply them to our clients’ specific business needs,” said Tighe Merkert, MMC president and CEO. “Her ongoing review of industry insights and ability to interpret and analyze research results provides measurable benefits to our clients and Marriner.”

Kearney has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Advertising/Public Relations from The Pennsylvania State University. She is a member of the Baltimore Chapter of the American Marketing Association where she is Vice-President Secretary for the second year in a row.
